THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced person to support Luceat.Capital's electronic order routing systems. The Electronic Trading Support Specialist will help support customers globally in a 24x5 environment to resolve electronic trading production support issues. This individual will be responsible for monitoring, identifying, troubleshooting electronic trading and connectivity issues across a suite of products with urgency. This individual will also help manage client changes across multi-asset suite of products. FIX, UNIX, SQL and Windows knowledge is a must.

This position will require occasional off-hours and holiday coverage.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide dedicated phone, chat, and email support to both internal and external customers by answering complex questions on function and usage of all aspects of electronic trading.
  • Provide real-time monitoring of trading systems, EOD/SOD, and health checks.
  • Resolve technical support issues and problems in the areas of system configurations, functionally and enhancements surrounding Virtu's trading products/systems.
  • Provide a high level of customer support and service to both Virtu's internal trading desks as well as external clients/customers.
  • Frequently dealing with trading issues surrounding the FIX Protocol.
  • Be part of a dedicated global support team, identifying, replicating, and prioritising client trading issues.
  • Coordinate with other team to categorise, prioritise, and resolve software application issues dealing with all levels of electronic trading.
  • Interact regularly with members of the development team, sales, and product management to produce and refine software solutions that address operational needs and requirements.
  • Serve as primary liaison between customers and the firm.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • 2-4 years working experience in support of the finance industry, preferably equities.
  • Proven technical and analytical skills in a mix of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Server, Microsoft SQL, Sybase SQL, and UNIX environments.
  • Previous experiences with support of trading systems and/or FIX order routing desirable.
  • Demonstrated excellent organisational, interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Our Trading Operations team is looking to hire an Operations Analyst to support the logistics, mechanics and back office workflows that are the foundation of trading at our firm. This team is responsible for managing the clearance, settlement, and reconciliation of all trades and positions on behalf of trade desks for the firm. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with traders, finance, compliance, brokers, custodians, and firm customers to ensure timely settlement of trades, accuracy of books and records, and avoidance of unanticipated risk to both the firm and its customers.

We look for candidates with a strong technical foundation, as you will also have the opportunity to work closely with software engineers to further automate and enhance robustness of the firm's operations workflows. Operations Analysts not only become experts in the logistics and mechanics of trade clearance and settlement, but they also play a crucial role in the ability of the firm to conduct trading efficiently and safely, perform challenging and stimulating data analysis, and participate in the architecture of new systems and controls.

No finance experience is necessary. We look for motivated, detail oriented candidates with a solid technical foundation and who have a drive toward process improvement.

THE CANDIDATE
